Equipment we manage
Projects may include diagnostic and clinical workstations, laboratory analyzers and controllers, scientific instruments, servers, storage, networking equipment, embedded computers, monitors, mobile devices, and related electronics. Deinstallation, decontamination, regulated materials, calibration status, and OEM requirements are reviewed and defined before work begins.
HIPAA-aware data handling
We identify and segregate data-bearing components, preserve documented handoffs, and apply the approved media outcome before reuse or final disposition. Sanitization is aligned with NIST SP 800-88 guidance; media that cannot be appropriately sanitized for reuse can follow a documented physical-destruction pathway.
Business Associate Agreement support
When EcoVault's role and access make a Business Associate Agreement appropriate, we can work with the customer to define permitted activities, safeguards, responsibilities, and reporting in a project-specific BAA and service agreement.
Chain of custody and evidence
Depending on scope, closeout records can include serialized intake, processing outcomes, certificates of data destruction, disposition reporting, and value-recovery settlement information for authorized reusable equipment.
Responsible reuse, recovery, and recycling
Equipment is considered for reuse or resale only after the approved data-handling requirements are satisfied. Marketable assets may enter transparent value-recovery channels, while non-reusable equipment follows responsible recycling pathways.
